16 Seal Coloring Pages

Seals are marine mammals that spend part of their lives in the water and part on land or ice. True seals, like harbor seals, have no visible ear flaps and wiggle on their bellies on land, while sea lions have ear flaps and can walk on their flippers. A thick layer of blubber keeps seals warm in cold water, and many can dive hundreds of feet to catch fish. This set gives seals a playful style. Seals balance on stacks of balls and balloons, wear a chef hat with a cake, enjoy a tall ice cream, peek from a birdhouse and swim in a fishbowl. A baby seal and two cute seal pages are perfect for toddlers. Harbor seals are gray or brown with spots, and many seal pups, like harp seal pups, are born with fluffy white coats. Gray with darker spots looks realistic, and blue water with white ice completes the scene. These pages fit ocean and polar animal lessons.
