16 Alphabet Coloring Pages

Coloring letters is one of the easiest ways to make learning the alphabet playful. When kids trace and fill a letter shape, they start to remember its form, and pairing each letter with things that begin with it builds early phonics. This collection includes a full ABC alphabet chart and bubble letters filled with objects that start with that letter. D is decorated with dolphins, E with elephants, F with fish, G with grapes and H with hearts. K carries kites, L is dotted with ladybugs, N holds nuts and O is covered in owls. Ask your child to say the letter sound out loud, then name each picture inside before coloring. Teachers can assign one letter a week and build a class alphabet wall, or let kids find their own initials first. Bubble letters have big, open shapes, so even preschoolers can color them with chunky crayons. Older kids can try outlining each letter in a darker color for a bold look.
