16 Reindeer Templates and Templates

Reindeer are real animals that live in the Arctic and subarctic parts of Europe, Asia and North America, where they are known as caribou. They are the only deer species in which both males and females grow antlers. These templates mix realistic poses with holiday fun. A reindeer stands facing forward, rears up with hooves high, leaps among stars and sits with a bell collar. Others skate on ice, cuddle in a blanket with a mug of cocoa, wear a wreath, hug a star, show off ornaments hanging from their antlers or wear a cozy scarf in a portrait. An outline and a simple version give younger kids clean shapes. Real reindeer are brown and gray, with lighter fur on the neck and belly, and their wide hooves act like snowshoes. Of course, a bright red nose for the famous one in the songs is always welcome. These templates can be traced onto brown paper for crafts, and kids love adding handprint antlers. Simple shapes suit toddlers, and the leaping pose is great for older kids.
