24 Airplane Coloring Pages
The Wright brothers made the first powered airplane flight in 1903 at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. It lasted just 12 seconds. Today big passenger jets cruise around 35,000 feet and carry hundreds of people across oceans. This collection covers many kinds of aircraft. There is an airliner, a cargo plane, a jet waiting on the runway, a classic biplane with two sets of wings, and a top view that shows the wing shape clearly. Airplanes fly high above fluffy clouds, and some show up in playful spots like next to a tree, on a rock, holding a beach ball or with a flower. A happy plane with big eyes and two cartoon airplanes give younger kids easy shapes. Kids can design their own airline with a logo on the tail and a stripe down the side. Light blue for the sky and white with soft gray shading for clouds frame the plane nicely. Airplane pages make a great travel activity and an easy way to talk about how wings create lift.
