61 Rabbit Coloring Pages

Rabbits are built for speed and alertness. Their eyes sit high on the sides of the head, giving them almost all-around vision, and their long ears turn separately to pick up sounds. This large collection shows rabbits in many forms. There is a cottontail like those found in North American backyards, a lop-eared rabbit whose ears hang down, a fluffy rabbit, a jumping rabbit and a front-facing one. Many pages pair a rabbit with a friend or object from nature, such as an acorn, a bee, a bird, a birdhouse, a butterfly, dandelions, a duck, a kite or a ladybug. Those pairings make it easy to chat about the outdoors while coloring. Wild cottontails are brown and gray with a white tail, but pet rabbits come in white, black, cream, spotted and many other coats, so any color is realistic. A soft brown pencil applied in short strokes makes fur look fuzzy. Little kids can start with the cute rabbit pages, while the scenes with flowers and birdhouses give older kids more to do.
