16 Wolf Coloring Pages

Gray wolves live in family groups called packs, usually made up of parents and their pups from the past few years. A pack works together to hunt large animals like deer and elk and can travel more than 30 miles in a day. Wolves howl to gather their pack and warn other packs away, and a howl can be heard miles away. All pet dogs are descended from ancient wolves. This set shows wolves and pups. A wolf howls, a mother wolf stays close to her pup, a cub stands and waves, one hugs a pumpkin and one wears a knit scarf. An easy chunky wolf, a baby wolf and two cute wolf pages suit toddlers. Gray wolves are a mix of gray, tan, cream and black, with a lighter belly, legs and face, and some wolves are all black or all white. Amber or gold eyes look realistic. Pine trees, snow or a moonlit sky set the scene. These pages pair well with lessons on teamwork and wild families.
