37 Dragon Coloring Pages
Dragons appear in stories all around the world, but they are not all alike. European dragons are often winged and breathe fire, while Chinese dragons are long, serpent-like and linked to rain, rivers and good luck. This collection keeps dragons friendly and playful. A baby dragon hatches from an egg, another peeks out from under a wizard hat, and one holds a spotted egg. Dragons blow a stack of bubbles, coil around a tree, hang from a branch, hug a lighthouse, hold a ball or a flower, munch a cracker, fly upward, look up at the sky and take a step forward. There is a close-up of a dragon face and a cute dragon for the youngest artists. Since dragons are imaginary, any color combination works. Kids might try a green and gold dragon, a purple one with pink wings, or a rainbow of scales. Coloring scales one at a time is good fine motor practice. Baby dragons and cute dragons suit preschoolers, and the tree and lighthouse scenes reward patient older kids.
