32 Dinosaur Coloring Pages

Dinosaurs lived for about 165 million years before most of them disappeared roughly 66 million years ago. Birds are their living descendants, which is one reason scientists now think many dinosaurs had feathers. This collection is mostly cute and cuddly. A baby dinosaur hatches in the sun, another cheers from an egg in a nest, and a baby long neck sits on a tree stump. There is a baby Diplodocus looking up, a Brachiosaurus reaching its neck above the grass, an Ankylosaurus standing for a hug and another sitting, plus a crested dinosaur standing tall. Familiar favorites like a cute T. rex and a cute Triceratops are here, along with silly scenes of a dinosaur holding a stack of balloons, sitting in a flower pot, peeking from a volcano and wearing a wizard hat. Nobody knows exactly what colors most dinosaurs were, so kids have creative freedom. Green, brown and orange are popular, but purple or striped dinosaurs are just as valid. Each page is a fun way to start learning dinosaur names.
Easy starters and one plated challenge
Cute Dinosaur is the chunkiest page, with a round belly and very thick outlines, ideal for ages 3 to 5. Cute T-Rex and Easy T-Rex keep big smooth shapes for ages 3 to 6, while Cute Long-Neck Dinosaur uses thinner lines across a much longer body for 4 to 7. Cute Stegosaurus is the one medium sheet, with a double row of veined plates and dotted spots. Cute Triceratops adds a ridged frill and horns for kids ready for a few more details.
Meet the plant eaters and meat eaters
The set splits neatly into diet groups, which makes a quick science sort. Cute Long-Neck Dinosaur, Cute Stegosaurus and Cute Triceratops were plant eaters, while Cute T-Rex and Easy T-Rex show the famous meat eater. After coloring, have kids cut out each animal and glue it onto a two column chart labeled leaves and meat, then draw a matching food next to each one, such as ferns, tall treetops or a bone.
