16 Ferret Coloring Pages

Ferrets are domesticated relatives of weasels and polecats, and people have kept them for more than 2,000 years. They are playful and curious, and when excited they do a bouncy, sideways hop that owners call the weasel war dance. Ferrets sleep a lot, up to 14 to 18 hours a day, and love squeezing into tunnels and tight spaces. This collection shows ferrets having fun. A ferret wears a backpack, holds a flower, carries a heart balloon, hugs a ball, enjoys an ice cream and celebrates with a party cupcake. A baby ferret, called a kit, and two cute ferret pages complete the set. Ferrets come in many colors and patterns, including sable with a dark mask, cream, white with dark eyes, cinnamon and silver. The mask-like markings around the eyes are a fun detail to color. Long, slim bodies and short legs are easy to recognize. These pages are perfect for pet lovers and kids curious about unusual animals.
