16 Beach Coloring Pages

A beach is made of tiny pieces of rock, shell and coral ground down by waves over thousands of years. Sand color depends on what it is made from, so beaches can be white, golden, black from volcanic rock or even pink from crushed shells. This collection captures a sunny day by the sea. There is a lifeguard tower, a lighthouse at the water's edge, another with stairs, palm trees standing alone or in clusters, and a hammock strung between palms. Sandcastles appear with a flag, as a tall tower and with a crab guarding the walls. A surfboard leans against the sand, beach umbrellas stand alone and in a stack, and cute pages show a crab, a seashell and a little sandcastle. Golden yellow sand, turquoise water and a bright umbrella make a classic palette. A few dots of tan and brown on the sand add texture. These pages are perfect before a vacation or on a rainy summer day.
Easy seaside pages for every age
Cute Beach Crab has the boldest outlines and the most personality, a good start for ages 3 to 6. Beach Umbrella, Cute Sandcastle and Cute Seashell are also easy but add stripes, towers or ribbed sections that suit ages 4 to 7. None of the four has tiny details, so all of them work with crayons, markers or watercolor paints, and a whole set can be finished in a single afternoon.
Make a vacation memory scene
Cut out the finished sandcastle, crab, umbrella and seashell and glue them onto a large sheet of paper painted with blue waves at the top and tan sand at the bottom. Kids can add themselves, a beach ball or seagulls with markers. Before coloring, collect a few real shells or photos from a trip and match their colors on Cute Seashell, or write the name and date of a favorite beach on Cute Sandcastle's flag.
