24 Flower Coloring Pages
Flowers are how many plants make seeds. Bright petals and sweet scents attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds, which carry pollen from flower to flower. This set mixes real garden flowers with a few playful ones. You will find a classic rose and an open rose with leaves, daisies on a grassy hill and in a vase, a cherry blossom branch in a pot, a hibiscus, a marigold, a bunch of lavender tied with a bow, and lilies in a vase with butterflies fluttering nearby. One page shows an open blossom with its stamens, a nice way to point out where pollen lives. A smiling dandelion puff and a smiling flower are fun for little ones. Real colors can guide kids: marigolds glow orange and gold, lavender is purple, cherry blossoms are pale pink and hibiscus can be red, pink, yellow or white. Blending two shades on one petal makes it look soft. The single flowers suit preschoolers, while the vases and lily scene suit older kids.
