12 Maple Coloring Pages

Maple trees are famous for their brilliant fall colors and for maple syrup. It takes about 40 gallons of sugar maple sap to make one gallon of syrup. Maple seeds grow in winged pairs called samaras, which spin like helicopters as they fall, carrying seeds away from the parent tree. Each maple leaf has pointed lobes, and the sugar maple leaf usually has five. This set features maple leaves, seeds and young trees. A branch shows winged seeds, leaves fall in a stack, a twig hangs with leaves and a column combines seeds and leaves. A bouquet of maple leaves and a pile of fallen leaves are fun to color in fall shades, and a maple sapling grows in a pot. A cute maple leaf and a maple character suit toddlers. Maple leaves change from green to yellow, orange and bright red in autumn, so kids can blend several colors on one leaf. Brown stems and tan seeds finish the pages.
