16 Bigfoot and Yeti Coloring Pages
Bigfoot, also called Sasquatch, is a creature from folklore said to roam the forests of the Pacific Northwest. The Yeti is a similar legend from the Himalaya mountains, sometimes called the Abominable Snowman. No one has ever proven either one exists, which makes them perfect for imagination. This collection gives both legends a friendly look. Bigfoot stands tall, peeks from behind a tree, wanders in the forest, climbs rocks, sits on a cliff ledge and poses on a rock pedestal and a stump tower. One page shows Bigfoot saluting in a park ranger hat, and another frames him like a museum display. The Yeti stays in the snow, holding a snowball, building a snowman, standing on an ice pedestal and peering out of a snow globe. Cute versions of both suit small kids. Bigfoot is usually shown with brown fur, and the Yeti with white or pale blue fur. Forest greens and snowy blues make each creature's home pop.
Choosing a friendly monster
Cute Bigfoot Character, with its wave and blush cheeks, is the easiest page for ages 3 to 6. Cute Bigfoot and Cute Yeti are also easy but add repeated fur tufts and zigzags for ages 4 to 7. Bigfoot in Forest is the medium sheet, with pine branches, bushes and a small walking figure that suit kids around 5 to 8 who like adding scenery details.
Forest cousin and snow cousin
Bigfoot is said to roam the forests of North America, while the yeti lives in the snowy Himalayas. Color Bigfoot in Forest and Cute Bigfoot in browns and greens, then color Cute Yeti in white and pale blue. Put the finished pages side by side and have kids draw each creature's home behind it, tall pines for one and snowy peaks for the other, then invent a giant footprint for each.
