27 Brachiosaurus Coloring Pages

Brachiosaurus lived about 154 to 153 million years ago in what is now western North America. Unlike many long-necked dinosaurs, its front legs were longer than its back legs, so its body sloped upward like a giraffe's. That helped it reach leaves high in the treetops, possibly 30 feet or more off the ground. The name means arm lizard, a nod to those long front limbs. This collection shows Brachiosaurus being both gentle and silly. One eats leaves, another nibbles a leafy branch and one holds a flower in its mouth. Brachiosaurus rears up, sits up, balances a ball on its nose and lets a butterfly land on its nose. Party pages add a hat and a lollipop, and a classic standing Brachiosaurus and a baby round out the set. Nobody knows its real colors, so greens, browns and grays are a safe start, while bright patterns are just as fair. The long neck is perfect for practicing smooth strokes from top to bottom.
