27 Capybara Coloring Pages

Capybaras are the largest rodents in the world, weighing as much as an adult person in some cases. They live in South America near rivers, lakes and marshes, and they are excellent swimmers, with slightly webbed feet and eyes, ears and nostrils set high on the head so they can stay mostly underwater. They are famously calm, and other animals, including birds, often sit right on their backs. This collection captures that relaxed attitude. A capybara relaxes, stands calmly, walks forward, takes a step and looks up. Others sit on a rock, rest in the grass, stand next to a tree, hold a flower, a ball or a pebble, and nibble a cookie. There is a side profile, a front view, a face close-up and a baby capybara. Real capybaras have coarse, reddish brown to tan fur and a blunt, square snout. In the wild they eat grasses and water plants. Warm browns with a little orange look realistic, and the calm poses make these pages relaxing for all ages.
